My final project in interior design focuses on creating living spaces for the Y-generation singles community in Tel Aviv. Despite the presence of digital communities on social media, those singles lack physical and human connections, leading to a deep sense of isolation in such a vast city.
The project aims to establish a living and leisure complex tailored to the needs of singles, addressing the internal conflict of wanting privacy while also desiring community involvement.
Through architectural modifications to an existing residential structure on Dubnov Street in Tel Aviv, a small city within the city is formed. The space between the buildings creates an internal lobby that serves as a transitional zone for residents coming and going from the city. The architectural planning and interior design of the project are based on the fast-paced lifestyle of singles, emphasizing availability, accessibility, and immediacy in every aspect.
